Terms and Conditions of Enrolment

World of Education reserves the right to cancel a course or make changes to course without liability if obliged to by circumstances beyond control or due to low demand. In such cases World of Education would seek to offer alternative arrangements, dates or venues, or a full refund of fees for tuition.

World of Education reserves the right to refuse to accept a student due to overriding the safety concerns or in case if we are not able to fulfill your personal learning needs. Booking course

For students who do not require a visa or holding the visa of Russian Federation the deadline for booking is 1 week.

For students who require a visa up to 30 days the deadline is 21 days before arrival.

For Study visa for a period of more than 30 days the deadline is 60 days before arrival.

Postponement of courses

The office must receive written notification at least 21 days before your course begins.

Changes before scheduled arrival date

Students must ensure that there is time to re-apply for a visa if changes affect their visa provisions. In case if students require new invitation to obtain the visa they will have to pay the Invitation Fee of 25 Euro and Courier Fee of 30 Euro.

Cancellation before arrival date

All cancellations must be received in writing.

Charges:

Cancellation received more than 21 days before scheduled arrival - Registration Fee.
Cancellation received less than 21 days before scheduled arrival – 15 % of tuition fee, Registration fee.
In both cases if the invitation for the visa has been sent to the student the Visa Support Fee and Express Mail Fee are not refundable.

Visa refusals

The refusal letter should be sent to us via e-mail before the start of the course. In this case non-refundable fees: Registration Fee, Visa Support Fee, Express Mail Fee. If you provide the refusal letter after the start of the course, the standard cancellation fees apply.

Cancellation or changes on or after scheduled arrival date.

Courses 1-8 weeks

Courses cannot be cancelled or shortened, or lessons reduced in number. No tuition fees are refundable.

Courses 9 weeks and more

For cancellations or changes to be effected the students must give 4 weeks written notice from any Monday. Tuition fees will be calculated and 50% of any balance will be refunded.

Late arrival or missed lessons

The missed lessons cannot be refunded.

Payment

Payment of Application Fee, Visa Support Fee and Courier Fee (if required) should be provided after the written confirmation of enrollment. Payment of the full amount (Tuition Fee, Accommodation Fee, Course Materials Fee, Transfer) should be transferred not later than 20 days before the start of the course.

Arrival

Students could be met upon arrival using our arrival service at the airport, bus or train station.

We recommend to arrive on Sundays as the courses start every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month.

Minimum age

Group students – 14 years old.
Individual students – 16 years old.

Duration of lessons

Group lesson - 50 minutes.
Individual lesson - 60 minutes.

Insurance

World of Education can arrange insurance cover via one of the Russian insurance companies. Cost: 15 euro per 3 months.

Accommodation

We will provide all assistance needed to book required accommodation.

We are working with hostels, guest houses and hotels. We can also provide host family accommodation, shared flats or private apartments on demand. List of available accommodation will be sent to student after receiving the application form.

Public Holidays in Russia

Our school is closed during public holidays. Jan. 1-11; Feb. 23; Mar. 8; May 1,9; Jun. 12; Nov. 4; Dec. 12.
